We call this Daphne time...

Daphne is loving playing on the ground. She is moving around, laughing, talking, and looking at everything around her. She is a very curious little girl!

Her latest thing is to stick her tongue out and blow. She makes herself laugh at the noise that comes out. She also loves when we do this back to her. It has been so much fun to watch her develop and see her grow. She babbles non stop and is now laughing when we laugh too! We are just so in love!!

Daphne is putting everything in her mouth to suck on and chew on. We still have yet to see a tooth make an appearance. Although, we do feel that it is right around the corner.

Daphne and Peter are best friends! They love each other so much it is adorable to watch. Pete lets her crawl on him and pull his fur. He is such a good boy. They are always giving each other kisses and Daphne loves to watch Pete scratch himself, she cracks up!

Daphne was having a great time watching the Bears game with me. She loved to watch them catch the ball and score touchdowns!! She also loves her Bears cheerleader out fit that Ellison shared with her. Thank you cousin Elle!!

Zoo day, eating, playing, nap time and a video

Josh and I decided to spend our Saturday at the zoo with Daphne. Josh and I have never seen a lion this close up. It was really amazing, he was very large, and we could never imagine coming across one of these in the wild! The tigers reminded us of Bosco and Peter when they play together. There were four baby tiger cubs, although, they really weren't that little.

Daphne loved to watch the train go by and wave to all the kids riding it.

Daphne loves to sit in her new eating chair we bought for her. She is doing great with eating and gets super excited. So far she eats bananas, apples, green beans, and peas. She loves all of them. Her next food to try is sweet potatoes and carrots. We have started to feed her as a "naked" baby because she is always sticking her hands in her mouth and getting baby food all over her clothes. She can be quit messy!
