6 Months Old

Daphne is 6 months old today and very happy to be wearing her adorable cupcake party dress from her Grandma! She is loving all of her baby food and at times will eat multiple jars to fill her up. I am super excited to be able to start her on 2nd foods and some of the other cereals. She is doing great with sitting up all on her own. She topples here and there because she will see something she has to have and in reaching for it she tips over. Still no real signs of teeth but we think they will be coming soon due to all the drooling and chewing she does. She did great at her check up today until it was shot time, Daphne was also able to get her first flu shot today too!

Daphne's 6 month stats:

Weight - 14 pounds 1 ounce
Length - 27 inches long
Head - 16 inches or 41 cm

Daphne loves to play on the ground with her toys, read books, and she has even watched a couple of episodes of Word World which really grabs her attention.

Sunny Saturday

Daphne had a fun afternoon in the park watching us fly a kite.

We got Daphne her first pair of sunglasses today because she is always squinting at the sun. Which it is sunny everyday here. I don't even think she realizes that she is wearing them, she hasn't tried to take them off once.

Happy Valentines Day

Daphne sends Valentine hugs and kisses to everyone. She loved wearing her pretty heart outfit from her Aunt Jenna, Uncle Timmy, and Jack.

Our Final Boulder Trip

Josh and I took Daphne to Boulder one last time. We spent the day walking around, having a picnic, and sight seeing at the Pearl Street Mall.

On the Pearl Street Mall there are lots of street performers on the weekends. The following two pictures are of a crazy old balloon lady who was full of energy and really enjoying her afternoon. Next is a man/dog, "Bruiser". This man walks around on his hands and feet acting like a dog. It is very funny to watch. He actually started to chase after a little boy at one point. Boulder really brings out some interesting characters!
